Newborns are our favorite.

Newborn sessions have got to be our favorite and after scrolling through these gorgeous images, you will undoubtedly see why. We greeted Hunter and his parents at our Dundee Happy Hollow Historic District Studio for his newborn portrait session where our prop room is plum full of newborn outfits, wraps, and vintage finds. We have a private sitting room where Mom can nurse, Dad can take a snooze, or both can grab a cup of coffee and a snack while relaxing on our comfy couches. Our changing table is stocked with diapers, wipes, extra burp clothes, and blankets. Our goal is to always make new Moms and Dads feel comfortable and welcome because after all, you JUST had a brand new baby, and boy is that a tough job!

Our newborn portrait sessions are always baby led, meaning that we take breaks when baby needs to nurse, cuddle, or rock. After we wrap baby in a swaddle, most fall fast to sleep and allow us to do our magic. Sometimes baby choose to be awake, and that is okay too! We love seeing those perfect little eyes, noses, and tiny baby toes. The ultimate goal is to capture baby’s first moments and the first family photos. We loved capturing these sweet moments for Hunter and his parents! Thank you so much for coming to visit us!
